How to : Enable Windows Dreamscene Video Wallpaper in Vista Non Ultimate

Ini merupakan sedikit tips trik untuk menjalankan fitur DreamScene atau video wallpaper di M$ Windows Vista non Ultimate.

1. Download patch file DreamScene.rar
2. Disable fitur UAC (User Account Control), caranya ;
control panel –> user account –> turn off User Account Control
3. Copy DreamScene.dll to %windir%\system32
4. Copy DreamScene.dll.mui to %windir%\system32\en-US
5. Rename the file themecpl.dll in %windir%\system32 to themecpl.dll.original
6. Copy patched version of themecpl.dll to %windir%\system32
7. Rename the file themecpl.dll.mui in %windir%\system32\en-US to themecpl.dll.mui.original
8. Copy patch version of themecpl.dll.mui to %windir%\system32\en-US
9. Buat folder baru di %windir%\Web dengan nama “Windows DreamScene” (without quotes).

terakhir Merge Register “DreamScene.Reg” dengan cara klik kana –> Merge, and then restart windows

Copy file dreamscene video (lebih baik .wmv) ke folder Windows DreamScene, dan lihat hasilnya

*) yang tulisan berwarna merah biasanya gagal dilakukan bila owner & security file tersebut tidak dirubah, untuk proses cara merubahnya klik disini
